Christmas
Christmas is a holiday observed mostly on December 25 to commemorate the birth of Jesus, the central figure of Christianity.Christmas is also widely celebrated by many non-Christians.Despite being a multicultural identity, all the Singaporeans join hands and celebrate Christmas with the same enthusiasm and vigor as they celebrate their own cultural festival.
The streets in Singapore are lighted up and beautifully decorated that holds on to the festive spirit of Singapore Christmas.
Modern customs of Christmas include giving gifts to your near and dear ones and decorating your house with beautiful Santa Claus, Christmas tree, streamers and different colored lights.

Deepavali
Deepavali is celebrated when muslims celebrates the 'festival of lights'.deepavali is also celebrated when the muslims celebrate the triumph of good over evil.Deepavali is a five days festival.During Deepavali,people pray to Lakshimi,Goddess of wealth,light prosperety and wisdom but also to gad Ganesha,the remover of obstacles.Deepavali celebrations take place in many countries in the world. On the first day of the Diwali festival people pray, eating a special breakfast made of many different foods. The Hindu Goddess Lakshmi's statue and images are carried through the streets in processions. There are various legends and stories about the Diwali festival.
